Questions

Why are there no words starting with x here?

Very few English words a young child knows start with x. Words ending in x, such as box, fox and six, are better practice because x is where they hear it. Type any word you like in the box.

Should my child learn capital X or lowercase x first?

Most preschool programs start with capitals, which are built from straight lines and big curves, then move to lowercase in kindergarten. For writing their name, teach it the way school will: a capital first letter, then lowercase.

Can I print only lowercase x?

Yes. Delete the other lines in the box and keep just x. To fill a whole page with one row of each, type Xx on one line instead.
