What this site is

Name Tracing Sheets is a small, free tool for parents, teachers and therapists who want handwriting practice pages that fit one child or a whole class. It has no accounts, no email sign-up and no paid tier.
How the letters are made
Print letters are drawn as single center lines, stroke by stroke, in the ball and stick style used in many US preschools and kindergartens. That is what allows true dotted letters, green starting dots, and stroke order numbers and arrows.
The D'Nealian-style option uses the same single-stroke approach with slanted letters and small exit tails. It is drawn in the spirit of D'Nealian and is not the official D'Nealian font; D'Nealian is a trademark of its owner, and this site is not affiliated with it.
Cursive uses the open-source Playwrite US Traditional typeface, and other text uses Andika, a typeface designed for children learning to read. Both are under the SIL Open Font License.
